in this canvas the author presents us with the portrait of a beautiful girl with classic and sweet features, dressed in simple peasant clothes of the time. This is not a typical representational portrait, but is closer in conception to a sketch, since you can see the use of a loose, scrap brushstroke that outlines the figure, and the finish around the face. However, it should be noted that the features of the face, despite the fluidity of the brush, do maintain a certain realism, showing an interest in volume marks.
