The diffuser is made of white overlaid glass and is mushroom-shaped. The glass sits on a cylinder that is mounted floating in the center of the ring-shaped base. The base consists of a continuous tube, which holds the cylinder with the glass at the top and forms the actual base as a ring at the bottom. The cable is routed invisibly inside the pipe.
The lamp is in good condition and has hardly any signs of wear. The surface has been polished and re-nickel plated by an artisan.
