Easily carry your cheese or fruit along with the glasses for a treat with your wine. The lid for glass department does have a latch to keep your items inside the basket. Latch is made with a single piece that has a slit in it for sliding back and forth, but cannot be taken off and lost. All natural materials used in the construction of the basket, latches and feet.
