Frequently brought to the American decor market by bohemian import stores, this one is marked on bottom of outer carved frame "Charles Cudd Co.", a local architectural design-build firm in the western suburbs of Minneapolis St. Paul. I sourced it from a local reuse decor boutique but could see that it needed it's cushioned top replaced.
New solid piece of 4" foam replaced old layers of 1" foam on the same board originally cut for the outer carved frame. A boxed and top-stitched cover made from white slubbed linen-look Perennials Outdoor fabric Sea Salt 957-124, to simply cover the new foam plainly - nice and clean.
It is ready to use as is, or have your local upholsterer sew and staple a new covered top for it to suit your own taste! Enjoy this as a padded table or seat - or even remove the padded top and use this decorative piece to hold contents of your choice. less
