Breathtaking antique Korean Bandaji Wedding Chest with endless styling opportunity. This elmwood chest from 1880 comes with a certificate of authentication and is sure to be a conversation piece for any room. Details. Details. Details.
Composed of two stacking pieces. Incredibly sturdy and well built though also lightweight due to the elmwood. These were built to travel well! The bottom unit houses two dresser-like drawers and the sweetest cabinet. The top unit has a unique peg fish lock with key included. This lock opens the fold down cabinet with both an extra deep storage, perfect for blankets and linens, as well as three small drawers.

- For the age of this piece, it is in great condition. It is from 1880 so there is normal signs … moreFor the age of this piece, it is in great condition. It is from 1880 so there is normal signs of age and wear to the piece including the wood, hardware and liner. The paper lining is in good condition for it's age though wear and folding here and there. The previous owners kept great care using a clear protective sheet to protect the bottom of the large deep storage. This is a vintage piece so there will be wear and signs of age.
