When he was forty years old, he married Maria Galindo, a beautiful Mexican girl. They had two children together; a son Juan, and a daughter Sandra. While living in Mexico City as a Master Engraver, he taught engraving at UNAM and the Ibéro-Americain University. While there he developed the technique of Intaglio and "Mixed Technique" etching with watercolor
