She is an icon of the south. This piece is from a prop warehouse in Hilton Head, SC. It is painted on a thin 4’ by 8’ piece of plywood, and was likely used as a backdrop in a theatrical production. I added the black frame to enhance rigidity to keep the board from bowing. It also frames the art beautifully. The painting is oversized.
