These beautiful PURPLE (Amethyst) dishes were made in France by Bormioli Rocco for Duralex, likely in the 1980's. They feature a lovely swirl pattern on the outer rim of the plates and saucers, and the body of the teacups, and a subtle scalloped edge. They are translucent, and in certain light read deep royal purple, or pick up lavender and almost pink in daylight. Just stunning-- very Hollywood Regency/Deco style.
