BBPR was the acronym that indicated the group of Italian architects established in 1932 by Gian Luigi Banfi (1910 - 1945), Lodovico Barbiano di Belgiojoso (1909 - 2004), Enrico Peressutti (1908 - 1976), Ernesto Nathan Rogers (1909 - 1969) .
The legendary Italian lighting company Artemide was founded in the province of Milan in 1959 by the designer and engineer Ernesto Gismondi, born in Sanremo in 1931, and by the designer Sergio Mazza, born in Milan in 1931. As is known, it was the latter who designing the Alfa Lamp, the company's first successful product, a year before the launch of Artemide. In the following decades both founders continue to create new designs for the ever-evolving collections of Artemide, whose goal is to develop distinctive and eye-catching lamps, including pendant and ceiling lamps, in collaboration with the major design talents from all over the world. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
