The top of this particular piece has some sun-faded patches, as shown in the photos. We chose to leave these untouched, as they are part of the item's history and add to its character. The overall condition is excellent, and we believe refinishing the surface would detract from its charm. However, we will polish it with rosewood balsam before sale to enhance its durability without altering its appearance. This piece has an attribution mark,
