This heavy lead crystal glass rectangle cheese dish with wedge shaped lid was sold by the Godinger Silver Co. from … more This heavy lead crystal glass rectangle cheese dish with wedge shaped lid was sold by the Godinger Silver Co. from New York who imported this piece from the Bohimian region of Germany back in the early 1990's. The Godinger Silver Co. was established in New York in 1974 and they started to import crystal glass back in the late 1980's. This heavy lead crystal glass cheese dish was pressed into a mould with a star and diamond fan design that was made to look like the early American brilliant cut glass done in a victorian revival style. This Godinger crystal glass rectangle cheese dish with wedge shaped lid is in "Excellent Condition" with only two chips to the tray, no cracks, no repairs, and very little wear to the piece for the age of it.
