The offset lithograph print is published by Habitat UK, printed in 1984 in an unnumbered limited edition on the occasion of The 20th Anniversary of The Habitat Stores. It features an artwork image originally created by Hockney in 1971 titled " Celia Carennac ", copyright David Hockney 1984. Habitat commissioned five artists from the five countries where it had stores to celebrate its 20th Anniversary. David Hockney was selected to represent The United Kingdom.

David Hockney ( B. 1937 ) is an English painter, draftsman, stage designer, and photographer. He is am important contributor to The Pop Art Movement of the 1960's. He is considered one of the most influential British artists of The 20th Century. His artworks have commanded greater popular acclaim than any other Contemporary British artist. The Pop Art Expressionist style artworks have been the subject of more than 400 solo exhibitions. Art works by Hockney are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.

Habitat was founded in London in 1964 by Sir Terence Conran a furniture designer and design aficionado. It became immediately well known for its lifestyle interior design retail concept experience. In its heyday, Habitat was unquestionably the most exciting and innovative retailer of home furnishing in the world. While no one person invented the concept of lifestyle home retailing as it exists today, Terence Conran comes as close as anybody.

The rare out of print framed offset lithograph print measures 24 5/8" W X 32 1/2" H X 1 1/2" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modern satin finish whitewashed white oak wood museum box style frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation. Details about the print are printed on the reverse back side of the print itself, visible n the back of the new framing.

It is in excellent " like new " condition. The print is in excellent " like new " clean vintage condition consistent with age, light signs of handling, and very light minor wear.
