This set of two vintage Enesco Japanese children bookends date back to the 1940’s. One bookend portrays a girl reading a book, and the other is a boy, leaning forward to read over her shoulder. Both are dressed in traditional Japanese outfits. Paint can be seen chipping in several places due to age, as shown in the above photos. In all other regards, this set is in good condition, with no cracks or nicks.
