I absolutely love this striking pair of red lacquered Louis XVI dining chairs with pretzel backs and hand carved detailing highlighted with gold and black. Gold silk tone on tone striped cushions cover the cane seats and attach to the chair back with ties. The chairs have sturdy wood frames, evidence of their quality construction. Their slight vintage patina allows these chairs to work equally well in a formal urban apartment or as chairished family heirlooms in a country cottage. Great flanking an entry table, adding a punch of color in a living room, or adding unexpected elegance to a breakfast table, the possibilities of where to use these chairs is endless.
