This lovely rug was handmade in Hamedan. Hamedan rugs are are some of the most diverse rugs, in the sense that two Hamedan rugs can look completely different. One common feature of the Hamadan rug that is present in this rug is the deep red and deep blue colors along with a neutral ivory color.
