Fantastic and unusual detailing - campaign-era edge caps in riveted brass, very substantial side handles, beautiful hand engraved plaque on top (which could be reversed to be blank or monogrammed anew).

Inside is equally well fitted - incredible hinges, rare storage insert tray - all entirely clean and original.

Missing the original key but that is likely a standard size and can be sourced. Opens freely.
