Beautiful, large 19th century pedestal desk in walnut complete with 8 drawers, each 27” in depth. One drawer is double height for vertical filing and rolls on wheels with metal tracks for easy pull out & push in. The central drawer locks with working key.
Rectangular caramel-colored partitioned leather writing surface with gold embossing adorned with depicting scrolling foliage border (replaced about 25 years ago).
The desk includes a pull-out shelf on the right-hand side, also covered in the same leather with matching gold embossing.
It comes apart in three separate sections: the top, with its three side-by-side drawers, the left and the right pedestals.
