Rarely found Monet Jewelers necklace in a festoon style. It is embellished with pink and blue rhinestones, enameled blue and white florets, and dark blue cabochons in a Victorian revival style with Austro Hungarian influences. The substantial filigree metal work and chains are gold plated and have an antiqued look. Marked Monet Jewelers, the first mark used in 1930s when the Monocraft company transitioned to Monet. Fastens with a spring ring clasp. Measures about 16" long and almost 5" across the front filigree centerpiece. Condition is excellent for Monet Jewelers pieces of this style and age. Shows very little wear although the metal does have some age patina. less
