It measures 9”H x 4”W … Read more This is a beautifully painted Tonala bottle with a quail, another bird, butterflies, and flowers. It measures 9”H x 4”W and is in perfect condition including the original cork. This bottle is signed on the bottom with Ken Edwards signature El Palomar and the signature of the decorator the butterfly. Ken Edwards is an American artist who after studying in America and Japan went to Mexico in the 1960’s and opened his own business in the craft village of Tonala. This is a rare piece and pieces with his signature and all this painting command a premium. This bottle would be great on the table, I have two, they’d be great for oil and vinegar or fancy syrup, whatever you’d like. Things can be stored in Ken Edwards pottery because it doesn’t contain lead. See less
