Vintage early 1900 brass ice cream scoop. The design is an ice cream soda shop scoop with a squeeze action handle mechanism. It is inscribed with the manufacturer and size, Gilchrist 30, Size 16. Gilchrist's No 30 is stamped on handle and '16' (the size) is stamped on the curved bar in the scoop itself.
