- An exceptional set of six vintage rattan dining chairs from Ficks Reed. Stout rattan and hardwood frame. Fabulous design, quality … more An exceptional set of six vintage rattan dining chairs from Ficks Reed. Stout rattan and hardwood frame. Fabulous design, quality and craftsmanship. These unusual pieces were a part of the "Far Horizons Collection" produced by long time Ficks Reed designer John Wisner. The series was introduced in 1954. The items have been professionally cleaned and re-lacquered and display wonderful color, depth and luster. The cushions are new and are upholstered in an outdoor fabric in blue with white contrast piping. Chairs do not have markings, but were bought as a set with other pieces that have Ficks Reed markings. less
