A signed abstract mixed media drawing and print by American artist Robert Henry (born 1933). Signed "R. Henry" on the lower edge, the figures of this piece are done using a combination of red colored pencil and charcoal drawn against a printed lithograph background. The figures appear to be in motion with their backs towards the viewer. The work is mounted onto a cream piece of paper.
Robert Henry was born in Brooklyn, New York, and spent much of his adult life in the city. After receiving a BA from Brooklyn College, Henry continued his personal studies in New York City under artist Hans Hoffmann. He went on to teach art across the New England area, as well as China and Japan. less
