This hand-painted glass lampshade is in the vicinity of a hundred years old; it’s atop a more recent reproduction Emile Gallé glass lamp base.
As you can see, there is a bulb inside the lamp base and another inside the shade.
You’ll also notice that there are some scratches to the paint on the painted surface of the shade and one tiny flake on the side of the very top, quite inconsequential and all simply adding to the antique look.
This lamp casts a warm, inviting glow when lit.
