This is a small engraving crafted by H. Eric Bergman, a historical Canadian artist. Christmas Eve is the name of this black and white piece. It is numbered 41 of 50 prints. I put a beautiful Larson Juhl made in italy frame with acid free mat and museum glass. This piece is a precious jewel.
Henry Eric Bergman (1893–1958), born Heinrich Erich Bergmann, was a Canadian artist born in Dresden, Germany. Bergman’s training was as a commercial wood engraver illustrating catalogs and business prospectuses. He later took up fine art working in pencil, watercolour, oil paint, colour wood block printing but he is best known for his fine black and white wood engravings.
