Johnny Friedlaender abstract exhibition poster announcing his works at the Musée d'Art Contemporain, Montréal, December 6 through December 31, 1973. Works exhibited were executed 1950-1973.
Featuring an untitled abstract by Friedlaender, 1955, the poster is housed in an ebonized wood frame with an inner gilt border under anti-glare plexiglass. Friedlaender (1923-1992) was a leading 20th century German/French artist internationally recognized and best known for his pioneering use of the technically difficult process of aquatint etching. The poster and frame are in very good vintage condition.
