A pair of studio pottery goblets by American ceramic artist Marjorie Marie Peeler (1926-2017). The footed stoneware goblets are glazed in brown and green with a ribbed texture to each cup. Signed “Marj Peeler” on the underside.
Marjorie Peeler was a ceramic artist who worked closely with her husband Richard Peeler under the name "Peeler Pottery." Richard and Marj Peeler met in art class during their sophomore year at Arsenal Tech High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. Together they were full time potters from 1972 until Richard’s death in 1998.
