An enormously impressive, 30 inch diameter, hand hammered brass tray on Moorish carved, folding stand. An absolute tour … more ITEM DESCRIPTION:
An enormously impressive, 30 inch diameter, hand hammered brass tray on Moorish carved, folding stand. An absolute tour de force. Islamic-Moorish Deities, in various scenes, around the entire tray. They are surrounded by arches and floral decorations. Center has a temple design with a scalloped dropped center. The stand has four perforated, carved stretchers with floral carved legs. The base folds flat. In excellent condition with period wear and patina, consistent with age and use but no serious damage or repairs. The tray top has been polished but the tray bottom shows the 100 year old patina.
