Pair of large Scandinavian Modern table lamps made in Denmark in the 1950s at Kähler Keramik by Nils Kähler. Amazing blue glazing and the herringbone pattern adds a dynamic element to the surface of the lamp and catches the eye with its beauty and complexity. Both signed Kähler signature "HAK" and "Nils". Mounted with light linen shades. Nils Joakim Kähler was the fourth and last generation of the Kähler family at the head of the ceramics factory. In 1940 he took over the management together with his brother Herman Jørgen Kähler. Nils was instrumental in leading Kähler's Ceramic Workshop into the age of modernism, among other things by virtue of the simple salt-glazed stoneware ceramics he designed. His ceramics focused on form and material, and marked a move away from the company's traditional orientation towards colored glazes and decoration. Nils Kähler's ceramics also gained attention abroad. Among other things at the Louvre in Paris in 1958 and at the exhibition "The Arts of Denmark" in 1962 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, where he exhibited together with other Danish design luminaries such as Kay Bojesen, Hans J. Wegner and Georg Jensen. Total height: 80 cm. / 31.5 inches. Shade diameter: 50 cm. / 19.7 inches. Stoneware base diameter: 20 cm. / 7.9 inches. official proof of authenticity,

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).

Cancellations

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.
- Shipping charges start at $799 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
- Only available in selected markets.
- Chairish In-Home Delivery
