Mid-20th century West Point Cadet Hat Mounted as a Lamp. West Point Shako Tar Bucket Hat from a 1953 West Point Graduate. Cadet buttons on strap & all insignia present - lacking the plume. Labels: "The Cadet Store, West Point, NY" and "J.W. Bayly & Son, Inc, Mfgs of Fine Uniform Headwear, Phila, PA". Retains inner straps for secure fit. Typical condition due to age & use. Made into a lamp circa 1955.
