Antique Hand Painted Nippon Morimura Gold Moriage Orange Blossom Bread Butter Plates Set of 5 1910s
Set of 5 Nippon Porcelain hand painted orange floral with gold gilt on edges and inner rim. Some of the plates have wear to the gold on the inner rim. The edges show little to no wear.
Orange floral is magnificent with nice detail and little wear. Due to the hand painted nature of the plates the detail in the orange blossom differs. One of the plates has a green mark (not a chip) appears to be the paint from the green vine and has been glazed over.
The plates measure 6 inches in diameter.
Each plate is marked on the back with the Morimura mark in green with and "M" inside a wreath. This mark dates the plates from 1911-1921.
