Antique Sèvres porcelain vase.
France, circa 1880 ( or earlier ).
This is a PRETTY and ANTIQUE porcelain vase, Sèvres style, outstanding piece.
2 handles porcelain, unusual form, all decorated in floral motif in gilding.
Bronze finial pineapple shape.
Original porcelain cover, decorated in high relief gold and silver ( silver decoration is very unusual in porcelain Sevres ).
Cover is broken and restored ( see photos ).

Main body : 2 outstanding hand painted miniature, the front one, depicting an angel, with arrows and bow, lighting fire, to get warm, wearing a green shawl . And a maiden seated on a rock, wearing a large pink shawl, that’s moved by the wind.
Very high quality hand painting, a lot of expressions.
Signed on the lower right DAPOIGNY ( see photos ).
The high part of the main body ( neck ), highly decorated with music instruments and flowers.
The back miniature, hand painted, landscape, trees and bird.
All winter scenes.
The porcelain plinth, decorated as the cover in high relief gilding and silver too.
Blue Sevres marks underneath the base ( see photos ).

Body with multiple fire defaults ( manufacturer mistakes ) at the very bottom part of the main body, and the 2 handles , showing the white color of the porcelain in some areas ( scratches and discoloration of the cobalt blue paint ) see photos. Glaze defects. Very beautiful vase. One of the best miniature hand painted I have ever seen. I detached, cleaned all the vase. Clean and ready to be placed. GOOD CONDITION less
