The table is made of wood and has a distressed, painted finish in ivory, giving it a classic look. The lower shelf is 11 inches above the floor, and the apron height is 1.75 inches. The table has no drawers. This antique was manufactured post-1950 in an unknown country or region. This has been in my family for decades. Antique 3-legged demilune table with a simple skirt, ogee edge, and lower shelf is perfect for a bedside, hall, or entry area. It is probably a mahogany wood painted with a crackled paint that is milk white. Original 3 screws, washers, and bolts hold the top to the 3 legs. The lower shelf has original 3 screws connected to the 3 legs. This will be disassembled for compact shipping, and it is easy to assemble with a flat-head screw driver (I marked the legs with numbers so it is assembled correctly). The weight is 8 pounds 9.3 ounces. This is a French provincial style that goes well with a shabby chic or coastal decor. less
