The original design was created in Providence, Rhode Island in 1909. This pitcher is fully marked on the underside with the makers mark, the number 2788 and year mark 2 indicating 1952.
It was designed to have an ovoid body, panels, a scrolled bracket handle and ovoid foot. There are some slight scratches but no dents.
