They are in nearly pristine condition, outside of a little finish loss and one of them has a little staining on the green straps.
Each of them are extremely sturdy, no loose joints or wrapping and the green straps are all attached and appear to be in excellent condition as well, save the light staining on one of them. They are very sturdy and aesthetically beautiful!
Provenance: we are the third owners.
Previous owner purchased from the original owner and had them stored in temperature controlled storage for 7 years. The original owners purchased these new in the 1950s and kept them in their basement, where they were hardly used. Please see the last picture the previous owner shared. It is a magazine photo that they happened to find from a 1950s magazine and it shows these chairs. less
