The inside of the box reads " Henderson Ames Company, Kalamazoo, Mich. Military and Society Uniforms and Equipments. Regalia and Paraphernalia." The side of the box reads "JH Kurtzman Rochester, Minn."

The box has certainly seen wear and is missing leather straps on the outside and the handle that would have been on top.
