This pair of signed vintage Japanese fauvist lithographs depict Japanese landscape woodblock prints. The second image is signed (signed lower rt). They were published in Japan by Kyoto News in 1964 (the first year the Olympics were held in Japan). Great color and composition. Crisp, detailed images. Presented in a passepartout (paper mat) Dimensions: 15.25" x 13.5" (Mat); 11.25" x 11.75" (sight).; 15.25" x 13.5" (Mat), 13.5" x 9.75" (sight) Please note that these prints are usually described as "original woodblock prints". They are actually high quality offset lithographs with a great "look". Don't be deceived!
