Extraordinary 19th century oil lamp made of brass with red copper. This lamp has subsequently been converted to electric and now works on a standard E27 fitting. This unique copy is made of very heavy quality in England and beautifully decorated. The lamp stands on impressive lion paws and the rod is decorated with acanthus leaves which are made of red copper. The lamp has new wiring, fitting and plug and also has a new lampshade which is anthracite in color. If desired, the lampshade can of course easily be re-covered with a fabric of your choice. The lamp is adjustable in height. 168 to 208cm high, 45cm diameter shade.
