This fat lava stoneware vase from scheurich, is a striking example of mid-century modern 1960s west german pottery, captures the bold spirit of the era. This particular piece, model 203-18, stands 18 cm tall, with a mouth opening diameter of 6 cm and a bottom base diameter of 10 cm. Its glaze is nothing short of mesmerizing, featuring an extraordinary blend of colors. Predominantly brown, dark brown, and light brown, the vase also boasts a bright red stripe running through its center.
