The definition of a monolith is an organized whole that acts as a single unified powerful or influential force. This painting embodies that idea. The three black monoliths are a strong force. The metal piece that seems to be a scaffolding, is helping construct the monoliths. The black vintage threads that are woven through the metal seem to be a part of the construction process. There are gold screws imbedded into the surface that anchor the work to the age. The entire piece has been resined to give it a very modern quality. The gold vintage frame with its worn patina, furthers the story of time and elements building together. A great piece for any style room decor. less
