The painter belonged to the circle of European painters of the end of the 19th century. Visible signs of aging are visible on the background of the painting and frame.
Painting condition: The painting has a barely visible fold line along its upper and lower ends, parallel to the horizontal parts of the frame. There are two small holes, few millimeters in size, in the upper right corner and one in the lower right corner below the signature. In the upper part of the painting depicting the sky, the layer of paint is a bit thinner, which is why a few small spots are visible, otherwise the painting is in very good condition. There are no visible stains and bitumen. No visible signs of restoration or any repairs, overpainting and inpainting. The most visible signs of age can be found on the frame. It is rather stained. The color of the frame is lighter beige with golden edges. Therefore, a slightly visible grayish shade is present on the frame and in some places the wood has suffered minor damage in the form of small cracks.
