This is Great Looking Authentic Antique American Country Primitive Blueberry Harvesting & Gathering Rake. Circa Very Early 1900s. It is Completely Hand Made out of In Indigenous North American Hardwood - Most Likely Maple with Assorted Steel Hardware and Oil Cloth. It has a Hand and Thumb - Spring Hinged Functional Operation. I Purchased this Piece on one of my Recent Picking Adventures in the Down East - Coastal Maine Region where Blueberries are Abundantly Harvested and Sold at Local Roadside Farm Stands During the early Summer Months. It is in Very Good - Completely Original - Still Functional - As has Survived Over the Years Condition ( Barn Fresh ). It has Developed That Wonderful Natural Age and Use Patina that Can Not be Duplicated - Displays Very Nicely.
It Measures as Displayed 5 inches Tall x 9 inches Long x 8 1/4 inches Wide.
