Monet had Giverny, his place of artistic inspiration. Marina's Giverny is a place on the Indian Creek in rural Missouri. She has been painting there for close to 30 years. Present here is a small oil sksetch paintined last year on a cloudy day. While called The big Indian Creek it is in fact a river of exceptional beeauty, full of fish and sparkling water. This painting was created on a birch panel at the edge of the water and measures 8" tall by 10" wide. The golden plein air frame is 9.5 " tall by 11.5" wide and .75" deep. The small size of this work means it is a perfect fit for your meditation nook, over your desk or sitting on a small easel in your living room.
