Swiss Nyon Porcelain Square Cachepot Planter Flower Pot Jardiniere Fish Mark - circa 1780, Switzerland. Marked on the underside with a blue fish mark used circa 1780. Each side is decorated with finely painted polychrome outdoor scenes within gilt cartouches: a young boy playing a Swiss bagpipe or Schweizer Sackpfeife; a water well among trees; beehives under a straw parasol; and a ladies straw hat and basket laying on the ground. The cachepot has finials on all four top corners and is raised on four feet. In very good condition as shown.
