18th C. Swiss Nyon Porcelain Square Cachepot Planter Flower Pot Jardiniere Fish Mark - circa 1780, Switzerland. Marked on the underside with a blue fish mark used circa 1780. Each side is decorated with finely painted polychrome outdoor scenes within gilt cartouches: a young boy playing a Swiss bagpipe or Schweizer Sackpfeife; a water well among trees; beehives under a straw parasol; and a ladies straw hat and basket laying on the ground. The cachepot has finials on all four top corners and is raised on four feet. In very good condition as shown.
Measurements: 6 3/8" tall by 4 3/8" square less
