Completed in 1756, was the … more Fine vintage painting of Nassau Hall, one of the most iconic buildings at Princeton University. Completed in 1756, was the largest stone building in the American colonies. It played a key role during the American Revolution, serving as a barracks and hospital, and briefly housed the Continental Congress in 1783. It now serves as Princeton's main administrative building. Nassau Hall is a National Historic Landmark and a symbol of both the university and early U.S. history.

This painting would make a wonderful gift for a Princeton alumni, student, faculty or staff. It would also be meaningful for a Princeton resident, a US history enthusiast, or art collector with an interest in architectural or historical landmarks

The painting is clearly signed in the lower right corner by J.H. Bayer and inscribed in pencil on the back: "Buyer: Nassau Tavern, Princeton."
