This exquisite, cased glass vase features a semi-double gourd form inspired by Asian aesthetics. Its elongated trumpet neck is beautifully adorned with intricate Greek bands, flowers, and garlands, highlighted in raised gilt and lilac enamels against a delicate marbled background in soft shades of yellow and pink, reminiscent of semi-precious stone. This style is often associated with early Bohemian marbled art glass by renowned makers such as Loetz, Harrach, and others.
Lovely as a standalone piece or as part of a collection, this vase would also make a wonderful gift for a milestone celebration such as a wedding, anniversary, decade birthday or similar. It is in very good condition, as shown.
