Gorgeous colors in this antique c.1918 milk jug! This has the flower in a triangle backstamp of Retsch & Co of Wunsiedel, Bavaria. Made of china with an ornate handle and a ribbed border at the top of the opening, this features a bright orange color gently fading into yellow, then lavender, and finally green. Has a luster ware glaze over all which was very popular during its time. Interior has a light blue glaze. This would be a cheery splash of color to brighten up a breakfast table with some daisies. This is in nice condition, no chips, breaks, or cracks. Light wear of the color on the handle. Measuers 6" high and 6" wide from handle to spout. less
