The Art Déco Sculpture proposed here is in Terracotta. Earthenware sculpture. 1920s/30s. Original 20th Century patina.
The Beautiful Young Woman Nude, Nude Female, expressing sweetness and sensuality
is signed on the base A. Gennarelli, Italian sculptor.
Amedeo Gennarelli (1881-1943), Italian sculptor, born in Naples, but active in Paris where he moved in 1909.
He was a pupil of Francesco Jerace, an Italian painter and sculptor from Naples.
Known for his beautiful female nudes that he creates using different materials: Marble, Terracotta, Bronze.
He exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1913 until his death. During his life he received many medals and honors.
The sculpture is in a good state of preservation.
