Entitled "Fern Canyon", this 2015 archival photograph on Hahnemuhle Fine Art Pearl paper is by contemporary Mendocino/Bay Area artist, Gaétan Caron (b. 1964), co-founder of Lost Art Salon in San Francisco. "What a magical time spent in this canyon covered with ferns in the spring time! Humboldt is the county North of Mendocino where California shows its wilderness at its best."
Gaétan captures most of his images in the surroundings of his off-the-grid home/work studio located in an heirloom orchard in the Mendocino hills of Northern California, a stone's throw from the wild California Coast. His work documents the textures, colors, forms, as well as monochromatic shadows and reflections found in nature through contemporary abstract, botanical, still life, landscape, seascape and portrait Fine Art photography. Produced in 6 size formats.
