Entitled "Auto-Portrait sur Argile (Self-Portrait in Clay)", this 2012 archival photograph on Hahnemuhle Fine Art Pearl paper is by contemporary Mendocino/Bay Area artist, Gaétan Caron (b. 1964), co-founder of Lost Art Salon in San Francisco. Gaétan captures most of his images in the surroundings of his off-the-grid live/work studio located in an heirloom orchard in the Mendocino hills of Northern California, a stone's throw from the wild California Coast. His work documents the textures, colors, forms, as well as monochromatic shadows and reflections found in nature through contemporary abstract, botanical, still life, landscape, seascape and portrait Fine Art photography. Produced in in 5 size formats.
Signed, dated and titled on the mat at the bottom. Using white 4-ply archival matting and conservation clear glass this photo is offered in three contemporary frame options;
Warm Distressed Silver: contemporary wood frame with warm distressed silver finish.
Charcoal Foil: contemporary wood frame with distressed charcoal metallic foil veneer.
