This beautiful, cheerful summer-weight quilt was discovered in Marin County, CA. It is hand-stitched and hand-quilted with wonderful calico prints and stripes. The blue squares are made with a beautiful indigo calico. The reverse side has a very cute, tiny floral pattern. It is strong in feel and does not have an odor. It would be beautiful on a wall, draped on a bed.
Deirdre’s Bio:
This comes from the archives of Deirdre Coughlin, founder of Phoebe’s Closet. She specializes in antique textiles and sold them to many New York City Designers including Ralph Lauren (that’s how I know her,) Charlotte Moss, Martha Stewart, and Schumacher, among many others.
